Dr. Sarah Kuramoto
DNP, PMHNP-BC, CARN
(She/Her/Hers)
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Washington. My approach is to come alongside clients to support each unique individual holistically, looking at mental health from multiple angles. I aim to work collaboratively with clients to support their unique needs through medication management that considers cultural values, social support, interpersonal relationships, and lifestyle factors such as sleep, nutrition, and exercise.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked with a variety of adult populations in the hospital and community setting for over 7 years with a focus on addiction and mental health. These experiences as a Registered Nurse (RN) reinforced my understanding of how our physical and mental health are interconnected, and that mental health is health. I am bilingual in English and Japanese and strive to be sensitive to the cultural needs of all populations.

Areas of focus: ADHD, Adjustment disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar, De-prescribing, Depression, Ethnic Minority Mental Health, Holistic Mental Health (focusing on nutrition, sleep, and exercise in addition to medications), OCD, and PTSD. Ages 18 - 64.

*I currently do not accept clients for therapy only.
